THE Grand Tasting Hall
FoodOne of the highlights of The Hopscotch Festival is the food! There are usually 7-8 food booths serving everything from salty to savory! Enjoy a lamb sausage or buttter chicken, perhaps a vegetarian dish. Located near the food booths are an immense amoutn of tables and chairs to relax in while eating. With the main stage located within the food area, you can eat, sit and enjoy the band all at the same time! Veteran Tip: Come Hungry.
Musical EntertainmentJust like in every year prior, we will have some special Music treats waiting for you. More details will be announced in the future.
Tasting TokensTasting tokens are the only form of currency in the Grand Tasting Hall market. The first five tokens for your Grand Tasting Experience are included with your purchased ticket. Within steps of you walking inside, you will be given your free pouch of tokens. Additional tokens can be purchased for $1.10 at the Tasting Token booths. The price of each sample in the Grand Tasting Hall is based on the retail value of the bottle being poured.
TransportationSafety is priority number one and getting home safe is the only option. There are FREE SHUTTLES starting at 9pm from the PNE Forum to two destinations: Renfrew Station, and Burrard Station. IT IS FREE. You should use these. These two stations connect you to pretty much anywhere in the Lower Mainlaind if you choose to use public tranportation.
Thanks to the Get Home Safe program at the BCLDB, we are able to offer you free transit tickets to be used on Saturday. So, either catch a city bus right from the PNE or take a free shuttle to a transit line that you can use to get home. Open your connoisseur booklet program guide once you arrive and all of the info on how to GET HOME SAFE is there. Transit tickets are available while supplies last.
